Along with seeing how our users were finding the EYESPY360 virtual tours platform, we also discovered some interesting information about agencies. One of the sections that surprised us most was that so many users had no idea how much their agency spends on property viewings.

Property Rights in Augmented Reality
We don’t need to tell you that augmented reality is on the rise. Apple’s new iPhone X and their latest iOS update have made that clear as day. This is just the beginning. It may seem a strange idea, but it’s anticipated that AR glasses (and even contact lenses) may rise to be the new norm in coming years. But even in these relatively early stages, where consumer access to AR is mostly limited to the smartphone, there are some ethical, legal, and regulatory issues being raised, particularly when it comes to physical space and property.

US Schoolchildren Take A Virtual Tour of Mars
We need to get more children into STEM subjects. We are advancing into an increasingly technologically focused future, and we are going to need an enthusiastic and dedicated new generation of scientists, technicians, engineers and mathematicians to take the baton and run with it. Unfortunately, there is a bit of a shortage of new recruits coming through the education system in the West, particularly young women, who face numerous institutional and cultural barriers to establishing themselves within these industries. In North America, there could be as many as 2.4 million unfilled STEM positions by 2018.

How 360 Virtual Tours Are Transforming Property Marketing
The real estate agent’s task of taking a property from listing to sale (or let) is rife with time-wastage. Whether it’s showing people around properties that they clearly have no interest in, negotiating infuriating city traffic to reach one property after another for viewings, or any of the myriad niggling tasks in between, there is a chasm in efficiency. So, too, is the journey of the buyer or tenant, who currently views an average of between 12 and 15 properties before finding their next home. There really must be a better way to market property.
